Biography

Cliff Hickam is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Diederich Group and is closely involved with planning, development, and implementation for the organization. He has been instrumental in positioning the Diederich Group in the marketplace as a knowledgeable, strong competitor and good business partner, ever mindful of the importance of serving clients with integrity. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Jeffrey M. and Margaret A. Diederich Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic organization. In the past, Cliff was on the staff of the Illinois State Medical Society’s Foundation, former Vice President of the Illinois Hospital Association, task group member for the American Hospital Association, and CEO for medical organizations.

 

Along with these positions, he has had national as well as extensive state legislative/agency involvement. He is a co-founder of both the Illinois Rural Health Association and the Illinois Association of Rural Health Clinics, and has been a Board Member of each. In addition, he is a member of several professional organizations and maintains many healthcare organizational, governmental, and legislative relationships. Cliff is an avid supporter of physicians and believes in quality work, positive attitudes and in leading by example.
